    Language Week Celebration

    November 1st marks the Punjab Day. In Delhi International School this day was celebrated with a high profile celebration of the conclusion of the "Language Week". Students presented the importance of English, Hindi and Punjabi in our day to day life situations. There was originality, clarity and scholarliness in the presentation by the students highlighting the significance of each of the language. The staff and student audience applauded the performance of the students.

    The Budding artists of Delhi International School visited MBBGRGC School, Mansowal for the Interschool Art and Craft competitions of HOL (CBSE) and returned with flying colours having secured many prizes.     Teacher's Day Celebrations

    The students of Delhi International under the leadership of the School Head Boy Amarpreet Singh of +2 Commerce and Head Girl Jasmeen of + 2 Non-medical along with the School council organised a eye catching Teachers' Day" program on the 5th of September 2019 in the school premises.             We organised an IT Quiz for the students of Grade-6, Grade-7 & Grade-8 conducted by NIIT, New Delhi on 22 November, 2019.

    Investiture Ceremony-2021

          Investiture Ceremony was organized at Delhi International School, Hoshiarpur. It was started by lighting the flame by Chief Guest Mr. Harprem Singh SHO Chabbewal and Principal G. Maria John, Headmistress Mrs. Lincy John, Coordinator Mrs.Monika Singh, Sports Teacher Mr. Baldev Singh and former Head Boy Gaurav and former Head Girl Navdeep.

         On this occasion a prayer meeting was held with some lines from Shrimad Bhagvad Gita, Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, and Bible while honoring all religions and taking blessings of that infinite Lord, and a colorful program was presented by the little students. To take over the responsibility of the school, Tonish has to be the Head Boy and Reet A. Singh was awarded the title of Head Girl and Armaan as Assistant Head Girl and Gaurav Pathania as Assistant Head Boy. Junior Head Boy Paras and Junior Head Girl Harleen Saini were appointed. Apart from this, the Captains, Vice Captains and Junior Vice Captains of the four houses of the school were also honored. Sarvjot, Samiksha, Vishal Saini, Tanvi, Lakshya Tola from Discipline House, Gurleen Kaur from Dedication House Abhishek, Rishika, Jasmine Aahol, Aryan, Jasmine, Gaganjeet from Devotional House Simran Singh, Mankirat, Shubham, Prabhleen, Nazia, Ranbir Singh

        The responsibility of the school was put on Armaan, Sainvi, Shreya, Sahajdeep, Aditi, Kunwar Singh from the Determination House. Sports Head Boy Aryan Jamal and Sports Head Girl Saanvi Pathania were appointed to encourage sports.Principal Sir explained their responsibilities to the students and administered oath that they will work together for the progress of the school with body,mind and will take the school to the pinnacle of progress.

    Celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Parkash Utsav

           A special assembly was organized in connection with the Prakash Utsav of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji at Delhi International School, Hoshiarpur. In which Gurbani Shabads were sung by the students, in which Mool Mantra, Japuji Sahib, Chaupai Sahib and Anand Sahib were recited. Guruji's life was presented in dramatic form. The whole program was presided over by Principal Shri G Maria John.

           Principal Sir motivated the students to follow the path shown by Guru ji and said that we should respect all religions, keep our mind calm and focused. There should always be positive thinking. Prasad was distributed among all the children and staff on the occasion of Gurpurab.

    Children's day

          Today, on 13/11/2021, a colorful program was organized in the memory of the beloved Chacha Nehru of the children at Delhi International School, Hoshiarpur. On this special occasion the parents of the children were present as the chief guest. The program was presided over by the Principal Shri G. Maria John. The stage was also conducted by the students with great confidence


         The program started by offering flowers and lighting the lamp on the picture of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru. Speech, poetry and dance skills were displayed by the children in a very attractive manner. The captivating performances by the children left the parents emotional. Also, according to the parents, the interesting colorful program done by the school took them towards their childhood memories.

        Special games were organized for the students on the special occasion of Children's Day. In which the students enthusiastically participated. On this occasion, school Director Anuj Tola ji while addressing everyone said that today is full of positive energy, as well as he told special things about Chacha Nehru to the children and congratulated the children on Children's Day.

It was started by lighting the lamp from the palms of the chief guest school directors Mr. Anuj Tola, Mr. Amit Tola, Mrs. Anu Tola, Mrs. Ritu Tola. Principal Maria John, Headmistress Mrs. Lincy John, Coordinator Mrs. Monica Singh, Vice-Coordinators Harjot Kaur, Sheetal, Tarnnum were present.
    On this occasion, a prayer meeting was organized honoring all religions and taking blessings of the infinite God. A colorful program was presented by the students of class 8th and 9th. To handle the responsibilities of the school, Vishal Saini was honored with the title of Head Boy, Channpreet Kaur as Head Girl, Uday Sohal as Assistant Head Boy and Hansika as Assistant Head Girl. Junior Head Boy Viraj Tola and Junior Head Girl Parina were appointed. Apart from this, the captains, vice captains and junior twenty captains of the four houses of the school were also honoured. Jolin Ryan, Jasmine Kaur, Lakshya Tola, Lakshita Rana, Ishan Chopra, Vedanshi from Discipline House, Yashraj, Harleen Saini, Akshat Kumar, Yogita Mahi, Ryan Shaikh, Aaradhya Chauhan from Dedication House,

    Principal sir explained their responsibilities to the students. The students took oath and pledged that they will work together wholeheartedly for the progress of the school and take the school to the pinnacle of progress.
    In the end, Director Sir said that now the responsibility of the school rests on these small shoulders and it is hoped that they will fulfill their responsibilities wholeheartedly. Encouraging the students, Anuj Sir said that by showing the children on the path of justice, this is your country, you are the leader of tomorrow. The whole school echoed with the sounds of applause.

    OUR CHAMPION KARATE PRODIGY CLINCHES GOLD IN PRESTIGIOUS BUDOKUN CUP UNDER 15 CATEGORY AT KENT COLLAGE DUBAI TOURNAMENT

    In a remarkable display of skill and determination, MANTHAN DHIMAN, a Grade 8student of Delhi International School Hoshiarpur, emerged victorious at theprestigious BUDOKUN CUP KARATETOURNAMENT held in DUBAI.Competing in the Under 15 category, MANTHANDHIMAN showcased his prowess by clinching the GOLD MEDALIST stiff competition from 700 Participants representing countries including India, Dubai, England, and Australia.

    The tournament, hosted at Kent College Dubai, witnessedintense bouts where Manthan Dhiman, under the guidance of his coach AbhishekThakur, showcased exceptional technique and athleticism. His journey to the topculminated in a thrilling final match against an Australian opponent, where ManthanDhiman tenacity and skill shone brightly, securing him the coveted gold medal.

    School Management Organizes Enriching Day Trip to Sadda Pind, Amritsar for Staff Members

    In a delightful initiative to celebrate and appreciate the dedication of our staff, our school management organized an enriching day trip to Sadda Pind, Amritsar on 10-05-2024. Sadda Pind, a Punjabi Culture Living Village Museum, spread across 12 acres, offers an immersive experience of the authentic culture, colors, and flavors of Punjab.

    The trip aimed to provide a well-deserved break for the staff members while also offering them an opportunity to explore and enjoy the rich heritage of Punjab. Sadda Pind, with its vibrant and picturesque setting, allowed the staff to witness traditional Punjabi lifestyle, art, craft, and cuisine. The experience was not only entertaining but also educational, enhancing the appreciation for the cultural roots of the region.

    Staff members participated in various activities, including traditional folk dances, arts and crafts demonstrations, and tasting an array of delectable Punjabi dishes. The interactive and lively atmosphere of Sadda Pind brought everyone together, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among the staff.

    Delhi International School Celebrates 100% Pass Rate in CBSE Grade 12 Board Exams

    Delhi International School Achieves 100% Results in Board Exams
    C.B.S.E. New Delhi, today announced the results of the Grade - 12th Examinations with Delhi International School achieving a remarkable 100% pass rate. The exceptional performance of students has created an atmosphere of joy and pride in the school and families. In the twelfth-grade Commerce group, Tamanna scored 94.8%, Rahul secured 93%, Rajpreet and Simarpreet Kaur secured first, second, and third positions respectively with 91.4% marks. Madhav Banot and Sainvi excelled in the Science stream securing the second position.
    The twelfth grade, English 98, Chemistry 98, Physics 98, Economics 96, Accounts 99, and Political Science 95 marks were achieved by students, elevating the examination results to new heights.
    Director Mr. Anuj Tola and Mr. Amit Tola, along with Principal Mr. G. Maria John, extended heartfelt congratulations to the students, parents, and teachers for their outstanding performance.     Delhi International School Achieves 100% Results in Board Exams
    C.B.S.E. New Delhi, today announced the results of the Grade - 10th Examinations with Delhi International School achieving a remarkable 100% pass rate. In the tenth grade, Jolin Ryan George secured the top position with 96.8% marks, followed by Mehakpreet Kaur and Jasmin Kaur Jhuti with 95.2% marks each. Students scoring above 90% include Chavvi Chaudhary, Vishal, Paras, Harleen Saini, Shweta Pathania, Tnisha, and Yasmeen.
    Students exhibited outstanding performance in all subjects with Punjab 98, English 98, Science 99, Information Technology 95, Social Science 99, and Mathematics 99 in the tenth grade.
    All students passed with flying colors, bringing pride to their school, teachers, and parents. In English, 20 students, 15 in Mathematics, 20 in Science, 10 in Hindi, 22 in Social Science, 35 in Information Technology, and 29 in Physical Education scored above 90 marks.
